Blogspiration #1

*Check out my 300 follower giveaway for your chance to win!*
Hi everyone!

Blogspiration is a wonderful new meme hosted by Sarah at Saz101 and Kristin at Growing Up YA (two of my favourite blogging peoples! Ah, so exciting!). This meme is to help create inspiration among all of us bloggers, readers and writers by posting an inspirational quote, image or video! For more information and to visit other participants please visit this link.

This week I picked a picture, that I found on Pinterest (I'm obsessed with Pinterest!). I love Sir Mix-a-Lot's -  I Like Big Butts song and I thought this was so true.. Because I like big books and I just can't lie!

There is actually a tutorial for this... I may have to do this, I always seem to find myself at the library checking out a billion (well 10..) books with only my arms to carry them. This would be the perfect library bag! The tutorial can be found at Sew Delicious, if your interested!

What is your blogspiration? If you did a blogspiration this week leave me links!

Happy reading!

Follow Friday #13

*Check out my 300 follower giveaway for your chance to win!*

Follow Friday is a great weekly meme hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee. This meme was created to allow bloggers and readers to find new blogs they like! So head on over to one of the above blogs and start hopping along!
So down to the Friday fun!

Question of the Week: Many readers/bloggers are also big music fans. Tell us about a few of your favorite bands/singers that we should listen to in 2012.

My favourite bands/singers change all the time but at the moment I would have to say that He Is We is up there:

Every time I hear this song it makes me think of John Green's books. There is just something about it that makes me feel like I'm reading one of his books!

Then there is We Are The In Crowd <3<3 so much love for this band!

I would love to know what my fellow bloggers love to listen too! Let me know in the comments or leave me links to your FF's!

Waiting on Wednesday #10

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. For more information please visit her blog!

Article 5 by Kristen Simmons
Release Date: January 31st 2012
Publisher: Tor Teen
Find it on Goodreads

From Goodreads: "New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C., have been abandoned.

The Bill of Rights has been revoked, and replaced with the Moral Statutes.

There are no more police—instead, there are soldiers. There are no more fines for bad behavior—instead, there are arrests, trials, and maybe worse. People who get arrested usually don't come back.

Seventeen-year-old Ember Miller is old enough to remember that things weren’t always this way. Living with her rebellious single mother, it’s hard for her to forget that people weren’t always arrested for reading the wrong books or staying out after dark. It’s hard to forget that life in the United States used to be different.

Ember has perfected the art of keeping a low profile. She knows how to get the things she needs, like food stamps and hand-me-down clothes, and how to pass the random home inspections by the military. Her life is as close to peaceful as circumstances allow.

That is, until her mother is arrested for noncompliance with Article 5 of the Moral Statutes. And one of the arresting officers is none other than Chase Jennings…the only boy Ember has ever loved"

What are you waiting on this Wednesday? Let me know in the comments or leave me links!
