Feature and Follow Friday #15

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly book meme hosted over at Alison Can Read and Parajunkee's View. It was created to allow us bloggers to find more blogs to follow and to allow our following to grow! For more information and to join in the fun, please check out their page's!

Q: What hyped up book was worth all of the fuss?

I have a feeling that there are going to be many of the same answers across the board for this one. Do I have to just pick one?! That's so hard. Ok I will have to say Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. I devoured this book. I finished it in one sitting and was left wanting more. The whole premise of the book is so intriguing and I'm so glad that Tahereh Mafi more than pulled this book off. It is now one of my favourites and I can't wait for the second!

What hyped up book do you think was worth all the fuss? Or link me to your FF's!
Also don't forget to check out my international giveaway while you're here!

Happy reading!

Follow Friday #11

Follow Friday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. For more information on how to participate and to see the other participants, please visit their blogs!

With the New Year approaching fast, this weeks question is only fitting!

"The New Year is here -- and everyone wants to know your New Years Blogging Resolution! What are you going to try to revise, revamp and redo for 2012 on your blog?"

This year is the first New Year that my little blog has seen! I have been finding that lately I have been buying more and more books before I get the chance to actually read the ones I already have. So my New Year's Blogging Resolution this year is to go on a BOOK BUYING BAN *gasp!* with Taneika @ Flipping Through the Pages until we finish the pile of books we have waiting to be read! It's going to be really tough, especially since starting my blog and seeing all of your lovely book posts.

I have a feeling that I will be finding any excuse to go to the shops to buy books up until the New Year. That only gives me two days...  If you follow me on twitter, you can expect some very distressed tweets as I go into book buying withdrawal.

My second resolution is to actually have a review schedule and to get more posts done in advance, so when I do get busy, the posts are all there ready to go! I also need to organise a blog button

What is your Years Resolution?

Happy reading!

Book Blogger Hop #2 & Follow Friday

So it's finally Friday! I hope everyones week was good, and that your weekends are even better!

Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jen over at crazy-for-books. For more information on how to participate please go to her blog.  This weeks Book Blogger Hop question is:

“As a book blogger, how do you introduce yourself in your profile?”

For book bloggers, I think it is important to let people who are new to your blog know what genre of books you read and will be reviewing etc. As much as I like to expand my book horizons, I also like following blogs with similar book tastes to myself. I don't go into to much detail, just give a bit of my book background. I do want to expand my 'about me,' I just havent gotten arround to it yet!

Follow friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read for more information please visit their sites!
Each week a question is asked for book bloggers to answer! Here is the question:

"It's that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?"

That is such a hard question to answer!! Harry Potter is an obvious choice but also...Hmm I think I would like to in the world of The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. Or maybe the world of Anita Blake by Laurell K Hamilton... Like I said, thats a tough question! There are so many book worlds that are amazing!

Please leave a link to your FF so I can be sure to check that out! Happy Friday everyone!
