(t)GIF Fridays! #1

Hi everyone!

Not sure how this is going to go down but thought I would give it a shot anyway! I was out for a nice chocolately splurge with Rebecaa @ Reading Wishes and Hannah @ The Girl in a Cafe, talking about GIF's. Now if you didn't know, which you probably didn't, Hannah is a little obsessed with GIF's ;) Sorry to let that cat out of the bag Hannah!

Anyway I was laying in bed the other night thinking about my blog and thinking about GIF's and thinking about Fridays.  I don't know what happened, all of a sudden BAM, I thought: 'TGIF! heh heh that's like GIF with a T at the start.' Then I thought that maybe I could do TGIF Fridays! I thought it would be a cool idea. I don't know if it will stick but hey, us internet folk seem to love all things internet related! GIF's included! Am I right?

So much of the time I find that GIF's can convey emotion so much better than words. Especially when there are just so many feels!

Enough of the blabby blabby. Here it is, my first (t)GIF Friday! Let's see how we go!

I freaking love this GIF. Who DOESN'T love dogs? How I feel when I walk into a bookstore and double take because a book I wasn't expecting to be out, is already out. Squee!

Feel free to share with me any GIF's that you like! I rather enjoy discovering new ones XD

Happy reading!

Feature and Follow Friday #15

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly book meme hosted over at Alison Can Read and Parajunkee's View. It was created to allow us bloggers to find more blogs to follow and to allow our following to grow! For more information and to join in the fun, please check out their page's!

Q: What hyped up book was worth all of the fuss?

I have a feeling that there are going to be many of the same answers across the board for this one. Do I have to just pick one?! That's so hard. Ok I will have to say Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. I devoured this book. I finished it in one sitting and was left wanting more. The whole premise of the book is so intriguing and I'm so glad that Tahereh Mafi more than pulled this book off. It is now one of my favourites and I can't wait for the second!

What hyped up book do you think was worth all the fuss? Or link me to your FF's!
Also don't forget to check out my international giveaway while you're here!

Follow Friday #13

*Check out my 300 follower giveaway for your chance to win!*

Follow Friday is a great weekly meme hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee. This meme was created to allow bloggers and readers to find new blogs they like! So head on over to one of the above blogs and start hopping along!
So down to the Friday fun!

Question of the Week: Many readers/bloggers are also big music fans. Tell us about a few of your favorite bands/singers that we should listen to in 2012.

My favourite bands/singers change all the time but at the moment I would have to say that He Is We is up there:

Every time I hear this song it makes me think of John Green's books. There is just something about it that makes me feel like I'm reading one of his books!

Then there is We Are The In Crowd <3<3 so much love for this band!

I would love to know what my fellow bloggers love to listen too! Let me know in the comments or leave me links to your FF's!

Happy reading!

Follow Friday #12

Happy Friday everyone! I hope your first week in the New Year has been fabulous!

It's time for some Follow Friday fun! Follow Friday is a book meme hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee. This weeks question is:

"Go count the number of unread books sitting on your shelf. How many?"

I'm not at home at the moment, but I can tell you that there is at least 22 books that haven't been read. Not including Ebooks.. If I included Ebooks it would be at least 35-40 books. I know this isn't as many books as some other bloggers but this is the most I have ever had sitting waiting to be read. The most daunting part of that pile is not knowing which one to read next! Since they all sound amazing and I want to read all of them next... Until I do read them all I  wont be buying anymore books or going to the library. Guess I better get reading then!

How many books have you not read on your shelf?

Happy reading!

Book Blogger Hop #2 & Follow Friday

So it's finally Friday! I hope everyones week was good, and that your weekends are even better!

Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Jen over at crazy-for-books. For more information on how to participate please go to her blog.  This weeks Book Blogger Hop question is:

“As a book blogger, how do you introduce yourself in your profile?”

For book bloggers, I think it is important to let people who are new to your blog know what genre of books you read and will be reviewing etc. As much as I like to expand my book horizons, I also like following blogs with similar book tastes to myself. I don't go into to much detail, just give a bit of my book background. I do want to expand my 'about me,' I just havent gotten arround to it yet!

Follow friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read for more information please visit their sites!
Each week a question is asked for book bloggers to answer! Here is the question:

"It's that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?"

That is such a hard question to answer!! Harry Potter is an obvious choice but also...Hmm I think I would like to in the world of The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. Or maybe the world of Anita Blake by Laurell K Hamilton... Like I said, thats a tough question! There are so many book worlds that are amazing!

Please leave a link to your FF so I can be sure to check that out! Happy Friday everyone!
